Roof repairs
We trace where the water is actually getting in before we quote. Slipped tiles, failed flashings, blocked valleys.
Roof repair details →Dagenham homeowners can contact us about leaking roofs, displaced coverings, flat roof problems, gutter work and replacement roofing enquiries.
We work out of 43 Hudson Road, Hayes, UB3 5EL. Ring first and we will tell you honestly how soon we can get to Dagenham.
Photographed on one of our own jobs
Much of Dagenham is the Becontree estate, one of the largest housing estates ever built, put up in the 1920s and 1930s to a consistent cottage-style pattern. Most of those roofs have been re-covered at least once, commonly in concrete interlocking tiles, and often at different times on adjoining houses.
On semi-detached and terraced estate housing, work stops at the party line. Where your neighbour re-roofed and you did not, the junction between old and new covering at that boundary is a standing weak point.
East of London from Hayes, so booked in advance rather than same day.

Get a quote for DagenhamSearching for a roofer near you covers a lot of ground. One tile off after a windy night and a roof that has been quietly failing for a decade need very different conversations.

Roof repair details →Full pitched-roof renewal when patching has stopped paying. Strip out, new membrane and battens, tile or slate.
New roof details →Extensions, garages, porches and dormers. We check the deck and the falls before choosing a covering.
Flat roofing details →Seamless GRP where the deck and the detailing suit it. Trims, upstands and outlets are part of the job, not an extra.
GRP roofing details →Repairs and replacement. Getting water off the roof and away from the wall is half of keeping a house dry.
Gutter service details →Standing seam and profiled sheet, mostly on extensions and dormers. Set-out has to be right first time.
Metal roofing details →Repeated patching is not always poor value, and full replacement is not always necessary. The decision should follow the number and spread of defects, roof build-up and condition of the materials that new work must connect to.
Before you ring, jot down the postcode, which part of the roof is affected and when you first noticed it. If the weather changes what happens indoors, mention that too. Photos from the ground or the loft help. Never climb up on a wet roof.
Map whether failures are isolated or repeated across slopes, edges and junctions.
Make sure repair materials can be fixed to sound surrounding work.
Compare a focused repair with broader renewal where both are technically reasonable.
Everyone searching for the best or the cheapest roofer wants the same thing underneath: somebody who will not vanish and will not cut corners. That part you can actually check.
Our project page shows preparation, membrane and battens, roof-window junctions, slate installation and the finished roof. It is our own work, photographed as it happened. We have not relabelled it as a Dagenham job, because it was not one.

It can be. Where two roofs meet at a party wall the detail has to be right on both sides. We can look at your side and tell you whether the problem sits at the junction or somewhere else entirely.
Yes. Tell us when the leak shows itself, where the staining is, and whether it gets worse in wind as well as rain. Photos from the ground or from inside the loft help a lot. Do not go up on the roof yourself.
Yes, on extensions, garages, dormers and porches. Before we can price anything we need to know what the covering is, whether the deck underneath is sound, which way it falls and where the water is meant to go.
Line by line, not on the total. Check what each quote includes for stripping out, materials, scaffold or access, skips and guttering. The cheap one is often cheap because something is missing from it.
